It’s still $55 for women, veterans and full-time college students$55 for all veterans (we will need to see student ID's or military ID). We still have the $75 for a husband-wife combo multi-state. It just does not get any better than this. That’s $37.50 each.

Why Pay More?
Taking Your Permit to Carry Course Shouldn’t Break the Bank. How much should a Minnesota Permit to Carry course cost? The truth is, getting a permit to carry a firearm in Minnesota can be very expensive, and for some folks it can be too expensive, so they go unprotected.

Unlike several other states that only require that citizens be “law abiding” in order to carry a firearm, Minnesota requires that potential applicants attend a “Minnesota Permit to Carry a Firearm” course, conducted by an organization certified by the BCA. The cost for that course is left up to the individual training organization. One organization charges as much as $200 or more. At Plane Cents, LLC we believe that it’s your right to obtain a permit to carry a firearm, and that you shouldn’t be “priced out” of that right.

So what exactly do you get for $65 from PCSD? You’ll be taught all of the key things that will help keep you out of trouble in Minnesota, including the three key things that the state requires us to teach, including: Instruction in the fundamentals of pistol use; Instruction in the legal aspects of firearm possession, carry and use, including the rules governing the use of deadly force; and an actual shooting qualification. In addition to those topics, we’ll also provide you with the appropriate instruction and certificate that you’ll need if you’d like to apply for your Utah permit, you may also apply for Florida and Newhampshire which when combined with your Minnesota permit, will allow you to carry in 31 or more states. We do not make you meet at a motel for your class. We meet at sportsman's clubs, conference rooms and sometimes even my house. Oh I forgot Goose Lake Auto Parts -- you may think, a salvage yard? Well you have to see the lodge we meet in that belongs to the owners to believe it. If you can make one of these classes at Goose Lake, you will not regret it.

So what extra things are you taught by a training organization that charges $125 more than PCSD? Guess what? You get taught EXACTLY THE SAME THINGS. They won’t teach you about a secret 5th rule governing the use of deadly force that only they know about (here’s a hint, there isn’t one), and you won’t be taught about a 5th universal safety rule that they invented that’s worth the extra $125 just to hear about it.

One thing you’ll notice about our web site is that we like having a dialogue with our prospective and past students, including filling you in on our thoughts, and what we’ve been up to lately. We might not look as fancy as eBay, but then again, we’re not trying to sell you a Mercedes, or a piece of toast that has the image of Jesus on it. Next step skill builder classes

These classes are for individuals who have a fair amount of hand gun time. You don't have to be a super shooter, but we will be doing exercises that involve moving while shooting, drawing from the holster and such. You need to be comfortable with hand guns first. We do allow you to use .22LR handguns to save on ammo cost as the skills you will learn are developmental skills that will transition to your carry gun as well. I have several semi-auto's in .22LR including 4 Glocks converted to .22LR with Advantage Arms conversions, that you can use.
